About this trip
The MSOE Soccer Spain Tour offers a unique opportunity to train, compete, and experience Spanish soccer culture while based in the coastal town of Sitges, just outside Barcelona. The team will enjoy training sessions and matches against local opposition while exploring the region's rich history and culture. Highlights include visits to Barcelona, a tour of the FC Barcelona stadium experience, and the chance to attend one or more La Liga matches, depending on the schedule. Players will also have plenty of time to enjoy Sitges, known for its waterfront setting, restaurants, and relaxed atmosphere.
Beyond the soccer experience, the tour includes excursions to some of Catalonia's most notable destinations. The group will visit the mountain monastery of Montserrat, explore the Roman sites of Tarragona, and spend additional time sightseeing in Barcelona. With three matches, a training session, cultural excursions, and opportunities to watch professional soccer, this trip provides an excellent balance of competition, team development, and international travel.
